Fairwater Store

The Fairwater Store is open on-site at Quonset Point to provide tools, work clothes, work shoes, company and submarine logo items, local entertainment offers and other miscellaneous merchandise at reasonable prices. For the convenience of employees, payroll deduction for purchases made is available. The Fairwater Store stocks a standard array of tools, and, if necessary, custom tools can be special ordered.

The Fairwater Store is operated by Greenwich Safety and is located in building 487.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7:00am-4:00pm

Effective August 31: Safety Boot Trucks will end their visits to Quonset Point. Greenwich Safety will be able to provide all safety boots from either the QP Fairwater Store or their warehouse.

Safety Glasses

Production hourly and salary employees are eligible for prescription safety eyewear reimbursement once every two years (unless there is a prescription change). Should your prescription change before two years has elapsed, another set of prescription lenses will be provided up to allotted dollar amounts. Prescription safety glasses obtained through the Quonset Fairwater Store are free when selections are made from the standard frame choices. If desired, non-standard frames may be ordered at an additional cost.
