SUPPLIER AUDIT PROGRAM
Electric Boat, Newport News
Shipbuilding, NAVICP, and three Public Shipyards (Portsmouth,
Puget Sound, and Norfolk)
are working collaboratively to share supplier audits of joint submarine
suppliers. These suppliers will be audited at least once every two
years, with a focus on critical processes in lieu of just quality system
attributes. The shared suppliers are assigned an audit lead agency and
the results of the audits are input to the Database administered by NavseaLogCen DETPORTSMOUTH, located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
All the participants in this collaborative effort of data sharing share these
audit results. Any Supplier may view their audit performance and performance
results by applying for a password at http://www.nslcptsmh.csd.disa.mil/supplier/supplier.htm
