Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Small Women-Owned Business and Veteran-Owned Business Program

The Electric Boat Corporation actively seeks small businesses, including those owned by either minorities, women and veterans to establish mutually beneficial business relationships. Our program includes both a small and small disadvantaged business administrator and a small women-owned business advocate. Electric Boat does not have a set aside program and contract awards are based on quality, pricing and timelines of deliveries. We periodically sponsor business conferences aimed at introducing small business to end users to stimulate business relationships.

If you are interested in establishing a business relationship with Electric Boat, complete a Vendor Capability Form and provide literature regarding your products and services along with a certification from an agency such as the U.S. Small Business Administration or local purchasing council of your business status (i.e. small, women-owned, disadvantaged etc). This information will be circulated among our buying personnel as well as end users. If there is interest in your products, you may be contacted by buying personnel directly or may receive a Request For Quotation via fax or mail.

Electric Boat encourages small companies to be persistent and periodically follow up with buying personnel to keep communication channels open, remind buyers of your company's capabilities, or inform them of any new business improvements or product lines available.

If you want to speak with a buyer directly, consult the Materials Management Contacts listing. If you wish to speak with a small business representative, submit a completed Vendor Capability Form, literature and a certificate of business status, to the following:
