MEDICAL PLAN The medical plan provides you with a choice of two networks – HealthNet and United Healthcare. You are afforded two medical plans to choose from. Each of the plans offers four levels of coverage. The four levels are:

VISION SERVICE PLAN (VSP) The Vision Service Plan (VSP) offer you opportunities to save money on vision care. This plan is separate from your medical plan. The following are the weekly cost:

TECHNICAL – EDUCATION PROGRAM This program is designed to provide professional growth opportunities and meet business needs. This program is open to all qualified employees interested in pursuing technical degrees or technical courses. Program highlights include:
Employees can join the SSIP immediately through payroll deduction. You will be able to contribute a portion of your pay in 1% increments. General Dynamics will match up to 6% of 401(k) eligible pay that you contribute on either a before-tax and/or after-tax basis. Your contributions will be matched $1 per $1 up to the first 4% of your pay and $0.50 per $1 you contribute up to the next 2% of your pay. The plan also permits unmatched contributions of up to 50% of eligible pay subject to Internal Revenue Code. Participating employees may choose to have their contribution invested in Bonds Index Fund, S & P 500 Index Fund, General Dynamics Stock Fund, Small Cap Index, Fixed Income, Large Cap Growth Fund, Large Cap Value Fund and Balanced Fund or a combination of the above investment options. The Company’s contribution becomes vested immediately. RELOCATION ASSISTANCE These allowances are available when used within 12 months of your hire date. To help you make your move, Electric Boat has hired a relocation company, American International Relocation Solution (AIReS). Once you and Human Resources has selected a start date, you will be contacted by an AIReS representative within 24 hours to go over your relocation package. Electric Boat will pay the full reasonable cost of packing, moving and unpacking up to 14,000 pounds of household goods from anywhere within the continental United States plus up to 30 days storage, if required. All goods must be picked up from one location and delivered to the new residence. Upon starting employment and prior to establishing a permanent residence, the company will provide lodging at a near by hotel, plus the standard meal allowance for up to 30 days for married employees or 15 days for single employees. Electric Boat does not provide for closing costs or home buy-out for new employees. OTHER BENEFITS AND SERVICES
