Working in Ventilation Design

Ventilation designers are tasked with the challenge of complicated ventilation design to deliver hospitable working environment in terms of air quality and temperature for the sailors on board.

Draftspersons working in ventilation design develop ducts with eccentric and concentric transitions and reducers using proportional splits and triangulation. They also use their knowledge of forming, rolling and bending light-gauge material and making joints and seams as well as welding and riveting.
