Mystic Aquarium

The world famous Mystic Aquarium in Mystic boasts exhibits from Dr. Robert Ballard, ocean explorer and a premier figure in Marine Research. The aquarium is a local favorite, but also attracts visitors from all over for a unique aquatic experience.

Naval History is part of our roots with the Nautilus Museum and the US Submarine Memorial. The United States Coast Guard Academy is located in nearby New London.

Two Native American Reservations provide an insight to their culture and their history. Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun provide great dining, entertainment and unique shopping experiences.

In the summertime, the locale offers several local beaches on Long Island Sound. Nearby Westerly, RI offers several beaches bordering the Atlantic Ocean.

We are a short drive to Hartford, CT, New Haven, CT and Providence, RI, and less than two hours from both New York City and Boston.

Whatever your hobbies or passions, you can live and enjoy them in Southeastern Connecticut.
